    Your coin has spent a lot of time in circulation and has no added value over face. Others have posted the costs associated with grading.

    @Sassykassy7984....No, it is not worth sending for grading. Judging from your question, it appears you are new to collecting and grading. I suggest you acquire a Redbook (available at most bookstores) and use that to classify your coins. You are also welcome to ask questions here, but it helps if you screen out the most obvious coins of little or no numismatic value. Good luck, have fun, and tell us about your coin interests.     You don't see very many '69's that nice in circulation any longer (F+/VF-).

    I see nothing else that sets it apart.

    Yes, I'll grade it for free and on-line... VF according to the pictures. Not worth the time and postage to send it in for "professional" grading/slabbing.

    Not really true. A lot of the Junior Numismatists in our club do it.
