New addition to the library

I just bought From Mine to Mint by Roger W. Burdette which I've put off long enough. It's a first addition, paperback (ugh) that I'll be taking into the city where it will be hardcovered. What can I say? I'm a traditionalist.
Any how, has anyone read this book? It covers the early years of the United States Mint in great detail using original documentation, records and letters as reference. This should prove to be an interesting read.
Also, any suggestions on a book dealing exclusively with Seated Liberty Dimes? I found a few, pricey (over a hundred and pre-owned), but would need some recommendation from others before dropping the cash. Authors I'm not familiar with.
Thanks!

Great book with too much information for the average intelligent collector. The only seated dime books I know of are Awash and the Complete Guide - both probably out of print. Gary Fortin has a web site that beats both books.
If you meant Gerry Fortin, I concur.

Nothing is as expensive as free money.
" The Complete Guide To Liberty Seated Dimes " Brian Greer
My copy is soft back and roughly 8x11.
Great book (From Mine to Mint) by Roger....Highly recommend for both experienced collectors and those new to the hobby - and all those in between. A great addition to any numismatic library. Cheers, RickO
Brian greers seated liberty dime book, softcover.
Never seen a hardcover version.
Fairly tough to find, at a reasonable price
Good luck
Roger's book is terrific. a searchable CD that came with my copy has been very helpful also.
I don't have that particular volume but I have several of Roger's other works and have found them all to be excellent!
I got Mine to Mint about 2 months ago.
Now if I could only quit wasting my time on these darn forums and start reading it :'(
