Nice, did the same myself some years ago. I know all about the 'tough' cards, not an easy set to complete.

Congrats on completing this set ! My all time favorite set ! I've been buying Psa graded '64's for
about 20 years now ! I'm not one of the Topp dogs in the Registry , but I was a Topp 10 set for about 10
years until recently with the sudden surge of people collecting this set in high grade ! I really love the way
the Player's image seems to be jumping out at you in that 3-D look on the cards ! We should make this post

The last card I needed to complete the set at 100% was card # 40 - Dick Groat ........in Psa 8 .........I was fortunate enough to have Curt Flood raw and graded myself ! I believe there was a card buyer on E-BAY called ' Madcardbuyer " who would bid on every raw card of Flood that came up for auction , and won the majority of them ! So that would probably make it one of the toughest to get in Psa 8 or better ............another seems to be Julian Javiar , another Cardinal player , but none of these are difficult to get if you have the $$$$$$ to spend

Hal Reniff and Bill Virdon were toughies for me and the last two I purchased. I had a party after finally finding Virdon!

I love the 64 set! I collect the Venezuelan version. After my latest sub, I’m at 74 graded cards from the 1964 Venz set

Have done the 64 set but do not collect Venezuelans . There were 587 in the basic 64 set and I understand there are 370 in the Venezuelan set. Any idea how they went about reducing the set from a printer, layout standpoint ?

No idea, sorry. You’re right about the 370, so I’m only now reaching the 20% mark.
