Nice, did the same myself some years ago. I know all about the 'tough' cards, not an easy set to complete.

    Collecting 64, 66, 67, 70 & 71 Baseball. Cubs, wax, cello & rack baseball.

Congrats on completing this set ! My all time favorite set ! I've been buying Psa graded '64's for
about 20 years now ! I'm not one of the Topp dogs in the Registry , but I was a Topp 10 set for about 10
years until recently with the sudden surge of people collecting this set in high grade ! I really love the way
the Player's image seems to be jumping out at you in that 3-D look on the cards ! We should make this post
    a picture gallery of 1964's ………..we need one ! I'll start with a couple ! ………………………..Robbie

  • Those are some beauties Robby. What cards did you have trouble finding?

would be interested if your “tough” cards were similar to mine.

The last card I needed to complete the set at 100% was card # 40 - Dick Groat ........in Psa 8 .........I was fortunate enough to have Curt Flood raw and graded myself ! I believe there was a card buyer on E-BAY called ' Madcardbuyer " who would bid on every raw card of Flood that came up for auction , and won the majority of them ! So that would probably make it one of the toughest to get in Psa 8 or better ............another seems to be Julian Javiar , another Cardinal player , but none of these are difficult to get if you have the $$$$$$ to spend :)

LMK if anyone has some clean, NM type cards that are raw for sale...

    Enjoy your collection!
