An error I've never seen before
COINS MAKE CENTS

Never seen this error. Yea I know I know it's not a mint error or anything and It may have been intentionally made but I for some reason find it pretty neat. I've sold hundreds of encased coins over the years and have never seen an off center encased coin.

I would not expect to ever have seen one - the manufacturers destroyed their mistakes, I am sure,.
But that is a neat item - a great association piece for an encased coins collector.
Put an off center cent in there
That's like trying to fit the glass slipper to Cinderella

I think that’s pretty cool.

Neat! The cent would have fallen out, since the encasement wasn't completely struck, but somewhere there's a cent floating around with a 4-leaf clover right in the middle of it.

Esoteric to the nth degree.
Nice oddity.
Neat!

I would love to find the cent with the clover stamped into it....Cheers, RickO
I am sure that it is firmly ensconced in some newbie's "error" collection.
That's a great pair

And the OP would be the only person that might want to buy it, just to make this piece of exonumia whole again.
