A Pair Of Tough Civil War dates (Seated Dollars) CAC approved

When @LeeroyBrown called and said he was ready to sell some of his Seated Dollars . I was very excited.... When he first purchased this incredible 1865 . I was very happy for him because it fit his set perfectly. His VF set is probably one of the nicest ever assembled . That being said I’ve always wanted her. She is just a VF30 which is currently the lowest graded coin in my set. But on this coin grade is not important. The quality is all there... I am assuming this was an easy decision for JA when she earned her green bean. There is only 17 CACs across all circulated grades for this date. She is super PQ and I have not yet found her equal in her grade range (or above for that matter). She will remain buried deep in my collection for many years. Once again my pics dont come close to capturing the in hand experience but this is the best I could do.
This is a no question business strike 1862 (the 2 in the date droops) Seated Dollar . There are several proofs that were mistakenly placed in business strike holders. So before you buy one make sure you check the 2.... This is one of the toughest civil war dates to acquire in circulated grades. Only 12 circulated coins have earned a CAC sticker for this date. It was an easy decision to add her to the set. No doubt about it.... It pays to have solid trustworthy friends.

Nice! I'd love to pursue a set of these but my pockets just aren't deep enough. I've been wanting a decent circulated grade Seated $1 for over 30 years and finally got a nice one last week. It's one of the more common dates but represents the type very well IMO. Here it is-

These are ALL fantastic!

Being the caretaker for both of your coins in the past, I know how nice they are. Congratulation

That is a lovely 1859 o dollar. Yes it may be a common date but in circ grades below Au I believe it a tough coin to find. I haven’t seen to many nice 1859 o’s in lower grade. Cac pop report is @ 27 XF and lower.
Congratulation
Great coins! I like them in VF grades, but soooo hard to find them without a lot of dings and "improvements."
Very nice coins....Congratulations on your acquisitions....Cheers, RickO
nice seated dollars
That 1865 sure is a nice one. Congrats.
