Interesting NASA Medal

I was going through some boxes today (after moving....I don't know where everything is yet) and came across this. The release of the medal and the release of the stamp coincided. I found the medal interesting because it is convex or concave (depending which side you look at) not unlike the Baseball Hall of Fame commemorative.

Fun piece. Given that it's an anniversary celebration, it's interesting to me that they have a spacecraft from 1983, but not from earlier.
