The Great Britain crown dated 1822 is offered infrequently so I bought this one recently.

WOW! Great coin.
Seems like a solid purchase based on eye appeal alone, regardless of date. Where did you get it from?
My current "Box of 20"

TalerUniverse aims to serve both as a private collection showcase and a growing reference resource for collectors, researchers, and students of early-modern European coinage.
An absolutely amazing example of a rare coin. In cases of coins like this, I sometimes feel like we are serving as preservers of history more than coin collectors. Just think of the people in the chain of ownership before you and how they protected this gorgeous crown from harm. It's a little easier for us with TPG holders, but we still can assure that future owners will enjoy its beauty in the same way you can now.
Congratulations!
