Yes, there were XB, YB, and ZB experimental notes in the 1935A series, and it appears that not that many survived.

I searched the entirety of the heritage archives and found precisely three Y-B notes (all UNC) and a single Z-B (circulated, in a Tuesday auction with a whole bunch of other 1935A silvers). No X-Bs.
The notes involved were from specific serial ranges.
I am glad to see this new information I discovered and shared, useful. Thanks for your appreciation.

Y-B:

9 chances out of 10, PCGS was too strict and the note will grade Ch CU elsewhere.
I have also seen the note and agree it is Ch CU. Not sure what there seeing there to call it a 58.

So close to unc that it is unc. I watch for under graded PCGS 55's and 58's all the time for the same thing as the note above. When it comes to final price, these notes can often mean.... SOCRE !!!!
To buyers of these borderline grades: Check them first, and check them closely, as some notes are actual AU55 or AU58 notes, and sometimes the reason is not readily obvious (very soft fold).
Keep looking for them experimentals. More on those soon.
Can't see it on the obverse but look at the reverse, lower left.

Good luck finding the others. Their survival rates seem to be as of now, slim to none.
