Slag Planchet Impurity error. Nice one too, especially being on gold. They typically impair eye appeal and lower the value, especially with morgans, but this one is a doozy.

Wow! Exact same look! Who's coin is that? If it is for sale I wouldn't mind owning it.
I made it in high school shop class! Just kidding. Now, maybe we can all agree it was caused by a defect in the strip.
