Cool idea of making the set in all doilies. Good job!
Always buying nice toned coins! Searching for a low grade 1873 Arrows DDO Dime and 1842-O Small Date Quarter.
Very nice matching set 👍 I’m still looking for a Doily Buffalo nickel

Very nice something you dont see everyday would look even better in a wooden presentation case
Great idea. Thanks!!
Very cool!
Interesting - what is the range of the short set?? Is it just what you define it to be??
Have twosides look for some at the Henry Doily ZOO!

Now that is just freaking awesome!
This reminds me of the @toyz4geo set of rattler MS Jeffersons. An oddball but tremendous achievement!
I'm certain that this will never be equaled or duplicated. Congratulations on putting together a truly unique set!
...now that’s how you have some fun, Nice Work!
Cool set! Cant waitnto see it grow
I defined this set per the PCGS Registry Set. Check out the link

Congrats & Welcome @howep surely a good start with a greater discipline ........ Happy coin hunting
Congratulation the set looks awesome, what a great idea.
A short set makes me laugh. A friend was doing a short set originally until he kept getting offered coins out of the short set. I hope that doesn’t happen to you. It would be impossible to complete a set in doilies and cac to boot.
Keep us posted and congratulation again.
It already has!! LOL
@howep....Welcome aboard....Very nice set and a unique concept for a series. Cheers, RickO

Pretty much common dates. I expect that from the ones I've seen over the years that a guy could probably do 5 of these with Morgans if he had patience and could shake the coins loose.

In the census to date there is only 1 ms 65 or better 1878-S Doily. Building this set and finding these coins was the most fun I have had in numismatics in the 45 years I have been collecting coins. Having a small goal of 65 CAC Doily's and achieving it (almost) has been rewarding. Every coin I bought but one did not have the CAC cert when I purchased it. Getting the CAC sticker has also added to the enjoyment. There is something so cool about these doily holders, especially the ones totally intact with minimum scratches. I have started a peace dollar doily collection as these are almost always under graded comparing 1989 standards to today. I purchased a 1923-d MS 62 not yet in the census which looks at least 63 to me. Hoping to get a gold cac when I submit. In hand it looks much better than image. Completely white with great luster

That is a very cool "First Five S Mints" set.
Now you can crack them out and place them in this kind of Capitol Plastics holder.

Very cool set!

A very cool set indeed
So how do we get the original population of doilies?
I guess if you had a September 1, 1989 population report and a October 1, 1989 report and a calculator, this would be a fun project.

Very Nice...A wonderful set.

Awesome short set and the presentation case does it justice @howep.
