That shipping vessel came in like that after traveling through some rough and heavy seas while crossing the Pacific from Asia. Picture was taken at berth 140 at the Port of Long Beach California. Some of the cargo did get lost.

... @Insider2 just for you...these tickets were purchased tonight at the liquor store next to Bronx Pizza here in Diego...I grab a coke and some tickets like normal from my man so I can safely park my vehicle in front of his joint while I grab my pie’s, or else he has the tow dude on speed dial and he has a quick draw...tonight, there was a sleep-walking crackhead with both his hands in his pants floating about while talking to a wall, along with some street-Jedi’s playing the galactic version of what looked like 3-card monte on my short walk from the LIQ to Bronx, interesting right?...nope, this is the just the daily grind out here, cheese and peppers, pay the Winner baby

Cali. man. Never been and not sure I ever want to go. Had I been born there I would resemble Charles Bronson. But, I would be just as happy growing up somewhere like Venezuela or Cuba.

Edited to add: There is plenty of that crap here in H-town as well just not so much in the burbs where I dwell.

The Black Hawk he was flying “took some combat damage,” he said, forcing him to fly about an hour back to base without “some of the rotor system.”

“A small thing — the rotor blades,” he said with a laugh.

Despite the close calls over the years, the 57-year-old said he never considered hanging up his helmet, which led this week to him passing a significant milestone in the world of rotary wing pilots — 10,000 hours of flight time, the equivalent of almost 14 months off the ground.

Shucks, I was waiting for something REALLY GOOD like a great white shark bumping the board or a whale breaching.

Fortunately, I don't know any "pigs" that trash up a beach but this reminds me of the "stuff" at the end of those wonderful Wildlife shows on TV.

By the time I reached six years old, I figured out what was going on: The music would change and the announcer would say "If humans don't quit breathing out CO2 the world would end in five years.
