Some raw pickups from a local show- quick grade update
There is a small local show in Pekin, IL a few times a year. It's usualy pretty small but this one was particularly sparse. Apparently since there was a larger show in the Chicago area most dealers went to that one instead. I took some time and looked through binders, which I don't usually do since it takes so much time, and found a few very nice 50's proof singles. I also took some time and looked through some SMS and found a nice cameo dime in one of them. Overall I'm very happy with what I found.

Very nice coins....good eye and patience are required for that type of work.
I used to set up at that show but it has been a number of years since I have been there.
It was hit and miss as most smaller shows are.
It sure is nice to find good raw coin.
Great pick-ups! I'd have taken all of them home too.
Excellent coins and nice pics too.
Equally impressed with how you formatted your post.
I don't recall ever seeing where you can click the text to see the pic. Very slick.

Very very nice!
Like that “sparkle” (don’t what else to call it) above the torch on the dime.
Congrats on your finds.

Same here...until you click on the coin descriptions with the arrow icons.
Thanks! I did a little researching on Markdown code. There is an easier way to do it as a "Spoiler" but I don't think that way allows you to set your own heading text.

Very nice.
Hoard the keys.
I've long contended that millions of raw specimens are worthy of collecting and as many are still worth submission.

I know you can't really know from photos, but does anyone think any have a shot at dcam? -Answer: no
I was browsing coinfacts and noticed that nearly all of the cameo sms dimes have an area of extra frost above the torch. Pretty interesting I thought.

Perusing raw coins from binders at a show is an awesome time! If you find nice coins, that is. Congratulations!
I love the quarter.
Update:
1953 25c - PR67+ CAM, pretty good result!
Still a very nice looking 65 IMO
1953 5C - PR67, I don't really understand how this one DIDN'T get cam
1950 5C - PR65, meh... thought it could cam, maybe I should have dipped it
1966 10C SMS - SP67 CAM, decent result, not bad for an $8 SMS purchase
Waiting for the TVs to be available

Beautiful coins Chris. Are you going to the STL Show Nov.7th?
Awesome! Always great to see TVs (or any pics). Thanks for taking the time to DL and UL them for all to see.
I linked to images.pcgs.com, no DL/UL required
I try not to take up server space if not necessary.
I might, it's a bit of a haul but not too bad.

Hope to see you there.
Pretty decent results except the '53 is a head scratcher......
