    In "No Country for Old Men", we learned the packets might contain a radio transmitter.
    So check carefully for that when you have time.

    Before I knew my wife, (been married 30 years) her aunt found a stash full of cash from a drug drop, they kept it , and 2 days later thier house was shot up and firebombed.

    Empty the body out of the drivers seat and gently lay him for the authorities. Tell the little one this is the day he gets his OJT Drivers Training. The Mission is to drive SAFELY HOME and that Daddy will be following grading his performance. If he does good your going to REWARD HIM WITH ICE CREAM for desert!
    Then let little Johnny know your going to check bill for unique serial numbers when he wants to know what your going to do with the piles of green things. Maybe this will be where little Johnny might begin his coin collecting but he gets to start with $100.00 crisp Benjiman’s!

    This is a life lesson, why not to put money first. When I first got internet in the 2010, I started watching a new service called YouTube and reading new websites like Businessinsider.com. I was in my 20's and I was in desperate need for money to pay the bills. I started noticing that there were lots of documentaries on September 11th and why the stock market is going to crash. I also saw that there were many premium articles on a stock market crash being imminent. I noticed that these videos and articles were being released daily and I was in my 20's so I believed them and decided to invest my life savings into inverse index ETF's since thousands of articles were being printed daily stating that the market crash was imminent. Fast forward to 2018 and I am still investing in these products and I'm only down 60% of my life savings but I still have 40% left. I then start noticing that the videos and articles start saying that now is a good time to buy stocks finally after 8 years of waiting and losing. Then I feel relieved and think maybe something has changed. Then magically, by Christmas Eve 2018, I get all my money back for one half day.....Only to not be able to sell because of Christmas and the half day.... The next open market day, the market bounced back and I was no longer even but down about 15% very quickly. I decide I might be in the right place and decide to just hold off before selling a loser because I might break even. Then, by February 2019, the same people that were making such horrific videos about how the stock market crash is imminent go from saying buy stocks now to a market crash is imminent again. So I get stressed out because I cannot change the people that are making the videos and now in two months I went from getting back my life savings to being down 50-60% once again. Point of the story of life lessons is that I instantly had a heart attack and had to be taken to the hospital... I then, had to go to the hospital very often due to the stress that these people online lied about... Plus, every time I googled my symptoms, google said I should immediately go to the hospital. So the point of the story is #1. Never believe the internet, because Google lies a lot more than it tells the truth, and #2. Never believe people on the internet because they lie on purpose. Needless to say, this was a life lesson about dealing with money, I thought. Never let money rule your life, even if you lose your life savings and can't afford to eat.

    As far as the cynical point of this thread is concerned, I'll only submit for consideration that one's honor and self-respect is worthy of modeling for one's children.

    After stealing one of my enemies cars, I would grab the cash, and drop it all over various parks, roads, hospital parking lots, etc.

    I would be quite interesting to watch the kicked over ant pile

    Interesting situation.... I would have to be faced with the situation in order to know exactly what I would do....One can hypothesize and moralize...however, it is only when faced with reality that the real answer will be known. Cheers, RickO

    Are there dye packs anywhere? How much room do we have in the back seat and trunk? Better, are the keys in the truck that we can close the back doors and drive it someplace more secluded? :)

    A lesson I have learned is that ethics and morality are usually inversely proportionate to the amount of money involved in the equation. Kinda like common sense and the size of a rodeo belt buckle.

    Take and hide two bundles several hundred feet away from the site, then call the police to report. Come back two weeks later to collect the hidden bundles. Why be greedy, take a nominal amount that no one would miss.

    I'd call the cops and let them handle it. As the finder I may eventually get the money if no one claims it. o:) Now, if I found a buried pot of old US gold coins that was buried a century ago, I'd keep it and not tell anyone. >:)
