1971D Washington Quarter DDR FS 801
Hello I’ve seen a couple videos on the FS 801 DDR one for the 1971 Quarter And the other for the 1971 D. I one of the videos shows a
MS 65 1971 with hammer dropping I believe at Stacks for over $8800. With that said I came across a pretty clean 1971 D that appears to be a DDR and wanted to share for some opinions. The top of the T’s in states the Q and U and also inAmerica looks a little spotty or slightly doubled.

The tops of the T's look like machine doubling... The CPG example is different than yours and I do not see a match at VarietyVista...Cheers, RickO
Your coin isn't a doubled die. As has been stated, VarietyVista is an excellent resource for this type of material.
I was using WEXLERS and they had a couple of other examples. I enhanced the reverse and took a couple more photos. Is this all machine doubling I’m seeing? Thanks again for taking a look. Appreciated!

Compare it to the images in VarietyVista. You will see that it's not the doubled die. Here are the specific images-http://varietyvista.com/09b WQ Vol 2/DDRs 1971-D.htm
