Any thoughts on this buffalo nickel?

I found it in my grandma’s estate

A very nice uncirculated, well struck type 1👌🏻

Probably AU rather than uncirculated. A nice album coin.

It's a nice coin, desirable, but as it was the first year of issue, very many were also saved.

This Philadelphia coin, Variety 1, had a mintage of almost 31 million pieces.

    Nice Buff for the album.

  • It’s 3 1/2 leg & off center struck on reverse. Pictures are behind plastic, but I promise better than anything I’ve seen that’s recorded. Thank y’all

  • I’ll try better later

Looks like an AU 4-legged Buffalo nickel that's about 2% off-center. In other words, it's an AU Type 1 Buff.

4 legs. Looks like a low level MS to me. Not off-center.

Not a 3 1/2 legged buff. It’s missing the die markers on the obverse.
I see no rub on the coin for it to be AU. It’s uncirculated from what I can see. It’s tough judging a coin with pics but behind cellophane it’s near impossible.

Impossible to have an off center strike on one side only. If only one die is off then it is a misaligned die. ;)

In any case, this one is minor and I don't think adds any value.

    It’s a keeper

A nice Buff... Good album coin... not a 3 1/2 legger (based on the second picture)...Cheers, RickO

    Nice buff, I’d call it a 63.

MS66 taste on an MS63 budget.

Here is a 1913 3 and one half legger for comparison
