WOW! I'm surprised the die didn't split and shatter!

May have on the next strike...
In all my years of searching boxes of nickels I never found anything like that. Very nice a definite keeper!
One of the last coins that reverse die ever struck. Very cool find!
I'm not an errors guy even though I do get them. Any idea on who would be interested in something like this?
I figured it might be worth 20 bucks or so?

1973 was a notorious year for Jefferson split dies.
Whew! What a crack!
It's SD-5c-1973D-02R.
Worth more than $20. More like $80-$100 depending on obverse condition.
I've never seen a crack like that on a Jefferson. Nice!
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
Wow... major die crack indeed..... Should have error collectors interested for sure... Never saw one that big...Cheers, RickO
Pretty cool die crack. Nice.
It’s worth whatever someone is willing to pay. Where are you going to find another one?

Now that's a break. Nice.
I like it. Pretty cool die break.
I think it deserves a nice premium. I don't follow the series so I don't know if it's worth slabbing. But that would be my inclination.
Lance.
You are low.

Some cool stuff here besides that one.
I found three on Heritage in AU58-MS63 (yeah, this one's circulated) from 2010-13 that range from $126-184.
