1939 Dansco "Album" has anyone seen one of these before?

It looks more like a folder than a Dansco album:

Look in David W. Lange's books on coin boards, folders and albums. they are a treasury of information on these items and the people who manufactured them.

One of the old type albums.... I saw a few of these in a coin shop in Wilmington, NC...a few years ago. Cheers, RickO

Some of us coin geeks collect stuff like that, I myself have several different coin boards from the 20's and 30's
    I do like that one

I have one for Washington Quarters. Yes, it was labeled as an album though it is what we now consider to be a folder.

Mine has a first name written in ink on the cover.

    Great album.

    Little known fact.
Did you know that DANSCO is an acronym for:

Dans Artificial and Natural State Coin Organizer

Edit: I suppose I should add the winky. ;););)

Hmm, I just assumed it was short for Daniel Stamp Company.

Does anyone know if these are known for any toning?

In the past I had wondered where the name “Dansco” came from. It’s kind of like how “National Biscuit Company” was shortened to “Nabisco.”

Nothing like a taco bell napkin with a little taco grease.

I also always thought the acronym was for Daniel Stamp Company.

The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.

This came in the shop recently. Copyright 1958.

The coins inside aren't very good. But as I often say : " silver goes black", over time.
And who doesn't like old junk ?
