Nice. Glad it wasn't my collection someone taped into! LOL.

I remember back in 1975 when I worked at a Pizza Parlor, some kids came in and bought a couple pizzas with all silver coins. I asked where they got them and they said their dad had a jar full of them. Sure would of hated to be them when "dad" found out! Needless to say, they now reside in my safe today!

    A '34 and not a '64! Silver and 85 years old.

Sweet! Don't see that everyday. As for me, only found one dime, 1962, and that was maybe fifteen years ago.

Released during the Great American Coin Hunt? It's the only way I can see this coin being in circulation...

A lifetime ago (when I worked retail, mid-70's), I had a quarter roll in clear plastic. You could clearly see one quarter in the roll was silver. Waited until the end of my shift, then I had to break the roll open and bought the quarter. Well, yeah, for a quarter...

This kind of personal coin find is just as interesting to me as threads about some multi million dollar coin that none of us can enjoy in-hand. Thanks! :)

I was excited when I received this 1912 cent in change from a supermarket clerk:
