I had some fun picking these out and snapping some pics yesterday without much financial pain.

Nice buffs, this is the only coin I've bought recently.

A crusty, but well struck, 20-D. Nobody can say this one has been cleaned.
My most recent:
1882 CC XF 45
Those Walking Liberty halves are just beautiful!
It was cleaned before it was struck!
A very nice Type 1 1972 Eisenhower Dollar in PCGS MS66:
Combined PCGS & NGC population of 10, none in 67. Not many after 47 years.
If you know what these are, and the story behind them, then you also understand why I'm still pinching myself for having been in the right place at the right time.
You got me😂
It doesn’t look cleaned to me

Yours reminded me I had forgot one. This one from Sunday also. The dies have worn down a bit by the time this one came out.
Still waiting for delivery but here is the TV.
I've wanted a nice Wiener medal for a while after seeing so many beautiful ones here.

I “Won” this chrome luster commem this afternoon. The horizontal scratch is on the holder, not the coin.
My collecting “Pride & Joy” is my PCGS Registry Dansco 7070 Set:

Good choice. I almost bought that one myself.
@MWallace Thanks! It looks nice in hand, though darker.

Was watching this on the Bay and the seller unexpectedly offered it to me for less than half the asking price...kinda surprised me but this is what I got for 1.2xspot
I really like both of your 1861 double eagles and both in old green holders! Congratulations.

I've always wanted a 1883 Hawaii half dollar. Now I got one. I might start a Hawaii type set!

Eglit 106, 102 mm.
Keets, fantastic medal. More details please. What is the metal and weight?
it is Bronze and I'm unsure of the weight. it's a "shell" medal with the two halves either struck or electo-type, filled with plaster and soldered/brazed. it is lacquered, you might recall my question about that a few weeks back asking about NCS/PCGS restoration services to remove the lacquer.
it is relatively scarce/rare in Bronze, I could probably count 15-20 unique examples in that alloy, most are White Metal at 102mm and a smaller size, 59mm, is more common and listed as Eglit 107. problems with numbers and specific details arise because the issuer from Milan, Italy was destroyed in 1942 during an Allied bombing run.
Here's another I hope to get in my preferred holder. It doesn't show in my pictures but it's pretty much a full blown PL coin which makes it look much worse in the pictures than it is!
