Was on these boards years ago as nalamolly5. I've been away a long time after selling off my collection due to a financial situation. I would occasionally look at the boards, and am always amazed at the amount of knowledge you can gain here. I finally restarted my collection, nothing huge having to stay within a budget. So keep filling my cup with knowledge, always looking to learn from you guys and ladies!

It had been so long that I had logged in that I just decided to start out fresh.
Depending on how long you have been gone, the hobby may have changed significantly. Were you around post CAC? If not read up on it before you selling anything. Also now is not the time to sell if you can avoid it. The market has generally tanked since 2008 with a few exceptions. Many coins are trading at 40+% back of what the same coins sold for a few years ago. Good luck!
Cac had just started up before I left the hobby. Have started up a few type sets, the registry has exploded since I left. I don't generally strive for the highest graded coins, but originality and eye appeal draw my eye.
It's pretty much required now if you want to liquidate quickly and at a good price. Everything else is treated as a problem coin by many (not all) collectors. Either way, it is a major pricing consideration.

The fish was from my last vacation in Maine. Hadn't fished since I was young, it felt really good getting reacquainted with the sport. Caught many nice ones, this was my best, though. I release everything I catch, not really a fish eater.
