Found this while cleaning out a box to get some stuff ready for sale. I haven't lived in NY since 1975. Hope they aren't subject to confiscation. :o

Must have been some sales gimmick, complete with wrapping machine damage :)

Sad to say, that motto 'Gateway to Freedom' is a joke... I live in NYS and between the taxes and oppressive laws and regulations, it is anything but free. Cheers, RickO

So true Ricko. Wife and I picked up and left the perhaps aptly named Empire State upon retirement. Never looked back So to speak.

I was born and raised in Amsterdam, "Gateway to the Adirondacks" and once upon a time "The Carpet Capitol of the World", the prettiest setting in the Mohawk Valley from about April to October, except for the Catskils that is. I still have a sister in Hagaman and a brother in Delmar that I visit every year or two. They both pay sky high property and income taxes. You are correct that NY is anything but free. It took my niece who lives part time in Manhattan almost two years to get permits approved on the condo she bought there. Now I live in GA, one of the tax friendliest states, especially for seniors.

I think I have roll or two of these. My grandfather bought them for me when he was alive around 2009 or so.

Try East Tennessee. Lots of beautiful mountain views. Lower property taxes. No personal income tax.

I’m in Florida, no state income tax here so there is that. There are also some nice coin shows here.
