Scarface Lincoln Cent

I came across this Lincoln cent and thought it looked pretty cool. The bottom of the B is filled in LIBERTY and it has several die cracks mainly across the head (hair) and going down to the face and all the way to the bottom of the coin. The crack is mainly visible on the head and face where the metal is raised to create a scar face. Actually I have two of these but the other one is a little bit earlier die stage with the filled B and the same cracks.
Would this be a good candidate for the CHERRYPICKERS GUIDE listed as a variety?

Filled letters or partially filled letters on Lincoln Cents are very common in the 1950s until 1968.
"Cracked skulls", that is, die cracks in the head also are very common -- somewhat more so on Philadelphia coins during this period.
These types of minor minting anomalies will not merit inclusion in the CPG.
    Keep looking though.

It will help you if you learn more about the manufacturing of coins so that you understand what you are seeing on the coin and why it is there.
    Good luck!

Worth a shot why not. I have some 58 or 59 with fill but on date not on Liberty. Pretty cool.

    Best place to buy !

I like it. First I've seen in that location. I don't think it's worth much over face.

Variety peeps might like it. The original "Cracked Skull" Lincolns had the crack higher up.

It is the first I have seen in that location also. In case you didn't notice, the crack curls up under his eye.
