Spammers

Hello everyone,
Thank you for your patience and understanding with the recent spam event. Spamageddon if you will.
We have done our best to weed out the offending accounts and will continue to keep an eye on the situation.
Should you receive a new message from a none banned account, please pm @PCGS_SocialMedia (if the account has not already been banned)

We are not alone. During the same time frame, the spammer created same user names and posted all over internet.
For example: banned user anitarthopkins

Thank you Heather..... It was an interesting approach to come through the PM function....Cheers, RickO
Another thing to consider is to have the "Allow other members to see your email?" option default to false for new account setup. Under the old forum software, a spammer harvested e-mail addresses from user profiles and used those for spam. You can set your own e-mail address visibility by editing your profile.
