    Am I a master collector? How can I find out? Does it have to do with number of stars that appear next to ID?

    I am a Master myself but have no clue what I am mastering on :D I can tell you a few but none of them has to do with coin :#:p

    I got mine a few weeks ago. I'm not sure how anyone qualifies to be promoted to such a position but that and $5 might get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks.

    Other than noticing it when you are "promoted," I don't know that there's a way. There's no persistent badge or extra little ding-dong that shows up in your profile. There also isn't anything explaining all the rights, privileges, and honors thereunto appertaining.

    The only way I can tell is to hover your mouse (pointer) over the stars next to your name and your level will appear. 5 stars is MC.

    No, you are just a "Collector". (Hover your mouse on the stars next to your name and it will appear.)

    Points get you stars, stars represent the level.

    Raw post count in itself won't get you much if anything. You need "badges" to get real points, which you earn by doing different things. The easiest way to get them is to get a lot of Likes, Agrees, and LOLs.

    Just post lots of things that people will agree with, like the sound of, or laugh at.

    And don't be stingy giving out the likes/agrees/LOLs. I find that people who give them tend to get them.

    And when all is said and done and you go to that big coin cabinet in the sky, if you are lucky people might notice that you haven't posted for a while and wonder what happened to you, then they will eventually forget about you and then the stars won't matter one bit. :D

    Same day I got my Expert Collector email. I know I'm not the former and I'm not sure about the latter. If this promotion involves additional responsibilities, can I get out of it?
