Experienced coin dealers should recognize these marks

A mint mark is a letter or other symbol that identifies the mint at which a given coin has been made.

A bag mark is a ding, scratch, indentation, scrape, or other blemish caused by the coins bumping against each other in mint distribution bags.

A counting machine mark is a dense patch of lines caused by the rubber wheel of a counting machine. Caused when the wheel spacing was insufficient for the selected coin

A contact mark is a mark on a coin that is caused by contact with another coin or a foreign object. These are generally small, compared to other types of marks such as gouges.

A pinch mark is a mild depression usually found on a penny, these are caused by tightwads that don't want to spend money on anything and if you try to take their penny, they hold on so tight that the thumb and index finger actually compress the coin.

There might even be a few scoundrel dealers who could recognize an "easy mark" as well? Certainly there are wannabe sellers on ebay that think they can find these.

My grandma could pinch a nickel soo hard the buffalo would shi_
