Anyone see this PCGS PR 70 toned Ike?

This was an interesting coin as I’ve rarely seen PR 70 toners, especially with Ikes.
Anyone see a 70 toner before with this kind of color? What do you all think about the coin and price?

Hmmm, not often to see one that tones. Can't say I'm a fan however. I would not pay much of a premium and certainly no where near where it went on price. Seller is very happy I'm sure.

The seller might be happy, but based on sales of some other top pop toners (Mercury and Franklin for example), maybe they expected more? Although we should note there are more PR 70 Ikes than some of the other top pops that brought record prices (and business strikes might draw more interest than proofs, especially modern proofs).
While I was waiting for this thread to load, I was just imaging a NGC or other slab, not expecting a PCGS ensconced coin. Not a big fan of the tone of this coin either.

I updated the title to clarify it’s PCGS.
I personally like the way the coin looks, but I didn’t think it was worth the final price (I may end up being wrong though the next time this hits the auction block).
I think we've learned that anything high end, and DIFFERENT, has the potential to go high. It's a situation where the price is set by a select few "ultra-Ike" fans. What the rest of us think probably doesn't matter....
That being said.....I like it, but a whole lot less than that price. (Then again, I'm cheap).

I'll bet that the coin is amazing in hand, rather than an auction house picture.
For starters, it's well under the record of $4150 set in 2002 and roughly $1275 above the PCGS estimate of $525. As for being worth it? As a fellow coin collector I can say that on more than one occasion I paid more than I probably should to fit my "needs". To those outside of the community it's only worth a dollar. As for the last question, with only 337 at that grade this is the first I've seen. In any of the Proof 70 Eisenhower Dollars as far as that goes. Perhaps that's what the buyer saw.
I actually like my PR67 DCAM better.
ATed in the slab. Toned coins don't usually get the PF70 grade and coins where the cameo contrasts are toned over don't get DCAM designations. Everything about this one screams run!

If there was a vomit emoji, I think it would represent @Ricko's thoughts and description of the toning on this coin. I would concur with Ricko too.
The coin is butt-ugly and the price is absurdly high.
I was skeptical based on the PR 70 grade (and DCAM designation).
Still, this looks better than the typical gassed slab-which makes me wonder if it did get graded like this.
This isn't a PR70 but a MS67 belonging, at the time (5 years ago), to a forum member who wanted pix. I thought the toning was pretty intense.

I wonder if that IKE was that color when slabbed?
If I had slabbed it I would have had a True-View photo taken to document what it looked like when slabbed.
I think the odds of that are pretty much zero percent. Blow up Ian's slab shots. It looks hazy and spotty in places and the eye appeal is not there. I would hate it as a 69. As a 70 it is likely either a mechanical error or a coin that has been manipulated in the slab or turned in the slab after encapsulation.
$1800??? Congrats to the seller. They got rid of a butt ugly coin and got a ridiculous amount of money for it.

I just cant understand how a heavily toned coin such as this can get a Pf70 grade. Certainly beneath that stuff there is some surface degradation.
My first reaction was negative. But when I looked at the additional images, my opinion changed to positive. Not positive enough to spend that kind of loot, but the other images are much more appealing.
