NT or AT on this ASE

It had some very dark toning around the rim when I first got it. But I left it under an active wireless router inside my shelf for a while. And the color had became more vibrant.

NT, fingerprint, not attractive, and unless a 70 not worth the grading fees.

Thanks. Btw can a raw toned coin able to grade 70? I haven't seem one unless it was toned after slabbed,

According to the time honored definition of AT/NT here on the forum... If you left it under the wireless router intentionally (cannot see that being an accident), then 'intent' was present, and that disqualifies NT....Cheers, RickO

I believe I have seen one toned 70 - a proof Ike. It’d be a waste of money to submit this. It looks NT but isn’t particularly attractive.

I think it would grade, but I also don't think it's colorful enough to benefit from being graded. I wouldn't send it in.

The router did generated low heat while inside an oak shelf. I am uncertain if it would effect the toning.

PCI was (or is) a grading service. Not on the level of our host and their holders could cause peripheral toning especially on ASE's. Some find it attractive.

Agree, it is NT. Looks like a little album edge toning. Not much color yet but it may keep going.

Now I see both sides. It’s very nice NT. If you really like it then slab it.
Or, if you like these put it in an album and try collecting different years that are toned
without spending to much of a premium.
