My Latest 1921 Peace
Saw this in Sarasota Numismatics' inventory and I had to buy it. I might have a problem since this is uncirculated 1921 Peace Dollar #7...
This is now my best struck example. It's quite a looker with just a few minor marks that are easily overlooked considering the strike.

Awesome strike! Nice find.
LIBERTY SEATED DIMES WITH MAJOR VARIETIES CIRCULATION STRIKES (1837-1891) digital album
That's a beautiful strike !
I don't know if you knew this or not ......but.....they stopped producing these in high-relief because the bank tellers couldn't stack them......
Nice coin! I only have 1 problem with it...……...1 too many prongs.
For comparison- here is my second best struck example. It happens to be a VAM 1H, which shares a reverse die with the coin above. The strike is close, but not quite as strong on this one, and a partially filled die on "STATES"

Would be nice in one of those 3 prong holders, but I am usually indifferent when it comes to holder unless I want to put something in a registry(I've only just started messing with that). I couldn't let the white surrounding it to cloud my judgement. I might cross it someday, but it's a 64 with CAC so no real reason to.

Maybe some day.

Might be the photography, but I like the strike on your second best a little more. I can see what you see in your posted example, but if that is the coin with the best strike, then there is a little rub that would grade it AU. If the strike is stronger in the recessed areas of the coin, then the lack of sharpness on the high spots are most likely rub. Just my

worth.
I too love 1921 Peace $$ and could own a box of 20 of them........and maybe you are going there?
OINK
I see what you mean... probably is the photography, I took the pictures of the second one several days ago, I don't think I had tissue paper around the light and I've just started using this macro lens so I have some stuff to figure out still. The points of the tiara are weaker on the second and the highest eagle's feathers aren't quite as well defined. The first coin definitely has to trace of rub.
Nice 2C piece!

Detail on the OP's 1921 is above average for the 1 million+ produced.
Adjusted the light a bit. I'm using just one at the moment, should I be using two?
It certainly appears that some of the hair details are softer

I really like the first one (second is nice too).... Been looking for one of these... usually priced too high IMO...However, I have the patience of a saint...

What do you think?
I think that more 1921 Peace Dollars show up here that any other coin.
