Who Says Collectors Won't Crack Out DMPL Coins??

A few of my old tags. The coins really do look a whole lot nicer in Capital holders IMO.
Your hobby is supposed to be your therapy, not the reason you need it.

They’re your coins and you can do whatever you want with them but I think cracking DMPL’s is a bad idea. A lot of DMPL coins graded 15-20 years ago will not grade DMPL today.

@Luxor , you've got more cahunas that I do.
Nice labels. You Da man.
great labels---why not show the coins?
LOL.
Why would that surprise us? Collectors do all kinds of weird things. I've seen polished coins, whizzed coins, cleaned coins. I've seen coins taped into albums, glued into holders, soldered into jewelry. There is nothing a collector could to that would surprise me.

Wow, I guess I can stop kicking myself for cracking out a hazy 33S walker from a 64 rattler holder and sending it to NGC for conservation and crossing over 😱
We're on the same page, Luxor. I usually buy them uncertified unless the price is right, but I do buy them in key and semi-key dates only to free them. Like yourself they look so much better in round Air-tites. Crack away!
Good to know there are still those in the hobby that collect coins and not holders. Congrats!!!!
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.

Wooooha! Did someone just say it's officially "TACO™" Tuesday????
Coins are my hobby... I like them raw... I have many slabbed though.... I would not hesitate to free one for a good reason...I put coins in airtites for safekeeping though...well, special ones... some I keep raw in my coin chests....special coins in the safe of course. Cheers, RickO
If that is the way you like to collect, I think it is pretty cool!
I wouldn't do the same, but I respect your method.
