After new flooring my wife surprised me with a new desk for my hobby "allegedly" ;) So excited, I broke out all of my student debt. and thinking a bear rug maybe some antlers. Show me some ideas.

Nice set up...Though, as Broadstruck pointed out, not much legroom for sitting up close....Cheers, RickO

It's not a desk. It's more of an storage case.

@PerryHall ...True, but with the computer, lights and glass, it gives the appearance of a workstation.....Cheers, RickO

@CoinscratchFever Now you got a place to put your hobby instead of the kitchen/dining room table... don’t worry we all do that. :D:)

Usually happens when the better half gets tired of it and gives us a “get-off-the-dining-room-table” gift.

    Possible add a bookshelf.

Always nice to have some special space for our hobbies. Enjoy. Peace Roy

Neat room and I like the workbench your wife bought you :)

Shame you have to sit sideways to view your collection as did she forget you had legs? :D

Hence, Allegedly! Its like Varidesk for now. I can always back up a few feet and sit down, until I can find a work around, lol.

The best, most functional piece of furniture I ever purchased was a steelcase wrap around work station/desk from a place that liquidated offices. It's been a bit over 20 years ago and I bought it for less than $500. The bridge between the desk and file cabinet section had a swing out keyboard holder. Man I spent a lot of time there during my early ebay/pre laptop days! Even got the keys so I could lock her up! Still using it to this day and still looks like new! I would wager it probably cost $2-3,000 new back then and would be afraid to guess today!

@amwldcoin That would easily cost 5 to 10k today, this one was 2k. But, I can see adding a side desk and cabinet already, considering how fast collections grow. I started 1 1/2 yrs. ago in the clear tackle box next to the pennies. It says pennies on the box, so...by the way it also states pennies on the coinstar machine but, I guess that's another debate :)
