My swinging the coil days may be over.

Since I turned 85, I have had a few health problems. My latest setback was three weeks ago. I was told I have lung cancer. I suggested to my family doctor that I get an x-ray of my chest because I had a slight cough. That is how we found out I had cancer. I feel very fortunate because we caught it at an early stage and I have one of the best lady cancer doctors in Arizona attending to me. It is stage B-1 and she told me there is a very good chance of recovery and getting rid of cancer altogether.

This coming Wednesday, I will have a PET scan and a brain MRI. I told them. "Good luck with that one." I feel very positive that I will be cured and possibly be able to detect again next year. Good luck to everyone. Find lots of silver and some gold also.

Sorry to hear this Ken... but glad you have caught it early and have a good prognosis. I look forward to seeing you back swinging the coil soon....meantime, do some research to find promising areas you can hit when you get back. Cheers, RickO

Hope everything works out. Having the stamina for metal detecting at 85 is impressive by itself.

Thank you so much for your wonderful prayer. I appreciate it. I am a born again and can feel the Lord in my mind and my heart. I am on our prayer list at church and I have a very positive attitude. May the peace of the Lord be with you always. Thanks to everyone else for the kind words also.
