    That is great.... It is enjoyable filling an album from circulation, though wheaties are getting a bit scarce now....Still fun to find and they are more common in rolls from the bank... or ebay or coin shops....Cheers, RickO

    When I was a kid, I was able to fill this set with the exception of the '55 S. i had to buy that one from Littleton. I think it cost me 15 cents.

    Actually I completed my Wheat cent collection earlier this year. All raw (except the 09s vdb) and it was more fun than any slabbed set I've collected. I may work on the memorial set someday, just for the fun of it.

    If you ever want to upgrade the press-in tri-fold album, the Whitman Classics are nice. They have the slide-in plastic that covers the coins and allows you to see both sides. You can sometimes find used ones at local shops for just a couple bucks.

    Careful though, you'll be compelled to fill it and some of the early ones are pricey. :)

    I agree Roger..........but looking at that album reminds me of the FUN I got from my searching. Oh yea, I did complete 1941-Present from circulation back in 1968. Man was I proud!

    'Cept I had to go to Twin City Coins and buy a 1955-S to complete it.

    It was circulated, too. That's probably a rarity in itself.

    I used to have access to parking meter change in Racine Wisconsin back in the early '60s. We would sit around a table and fill Whitman folders about once a month. A couple of $50 bags would keep us busy..

    I'm interested in some of the 1800 and early 1900. I have multiple Whitman books I am working on. And about 3k coins loose. I will get back to you asap. Need to work on my inventory lol
