A shout out to my friend, Todd Pollock @Blu62vette
As most of you remember my home was burned to the ground along with my sons, my daughters homes and our business turned to ashes. I was able to grab about 2k worth of my coins from a not so good safe and run like hell from the fire. It was a load of coins I sure didn’t feel comfortable hauling around with me. It’s wasn't even two days after that fire when my good friend Todd got a hold of me asking if there was anything he could do to help us out. I immediately thought of the trunk of my car full of coins coin albums and rolls of coins and proof silver eagles. At any rate I asked Todd if he would mind holding those until we can find a safer place to stay than a hotel room. Of course he obliged me. That was 8 months ago. I made the call last week to my friend Todd asking if he would mind if I made to drive to pick them up. I was going to do that but he decided it would be just as easy to ship them here, which he did. I would like to say at this point that my man Todd is such s good guy I would have trusted him with my kids. Long story short I received my coins back all in tacked just as I remembered them. I trust him so much I didn’t even inventory this coins. Thank you @blu62vette, Todd. Not only that but if you happen to see my man at coin shows have him image up some of your coins. He is quite the coin photographer too.
I cannot put into words how grateful I am for what you’ve done to help us along.
Thank you my brother, Todd.
Joe

Fantastic,.... always glad to see forum members helping others...there is enough bad news out there, things such as this reminds us all that there are really great people helping others. Cheers, RickO
A person has integrity or they do not. Obviously Todd does.
He's a good guy alright.
Awesome some truely great people on these boards!!
Todd's been a stalwart around here for a long time.
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
Todd and his dad are two of the good people I have met in this hobby. He is one good photographer as well.

Great story to share and Todd is a class act! As some have said he shoots pretty good photo's too! Here is one of my favorites!

Todd is a first rate person for sure.
In a time of crisis you find out who your real friends are. Thanks for sharing your story of friendship when you needed some help.

I love it. I’m a guy who believes in equal parts complaining and extolling. There’s not enough of the second in this world.
This does the heart good. Thank you todd
Todd is a good man!
I always look forward to seeing Todd and Roger at shows. Classy family

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Todd is a class act. This can be attributed to his father and mother.
He does all of my imaging. Not to bad in that area either!!
I like him.

That was really nice Joe! But dang, now it’s going to go to Todd’s head and he’ll be unbearable to be around! 😬😉

Todd has been a big help to me over the years. At Fun each year, he images the new coins I find and sends the images to me after the show. Great service and quality images. Him and his dad are great folks.
Made me smile this morning. Good to know there are great people around here.

I've felt exactly the same about Todd (and his dad) for many years. I've sent Todd high value coins with no question, just because he asked to see them. He's a unanimous first ballot "Circle of Trust" member in my book.
Joe, thanks for your post and good luck with your recovery efforts. The wildfires out here in California seem to be getting worse every year.
And, yes, Todd is a great guy.

You know I would do it anytime Joe.
I figured this post would be more centered on the Hollandaise Sauce from our breakfast....
I stored a couple boxes of stuff at my dad's house so some credit to @mustanggt also.
Todd....is due for some good karma.
Great to see the good humans are capable of, thumbs up!
Todd is one of the good guys. He has imaged some of my coins for me.
