Uh oh! Hope all is well!

Just did some research with google map. It was right by her old home in Kihei. But she just bought a new house in Wailea which is like 10 mins drive away. So I am very concern. After all, the island isn't that big. :#

    Hope she is o.k.

No fire related problems in Wailea. It's multiple brush fires.

It is the summer fishing season.

    I hope she is okay.

I've been wondering how she's doing as well

Fire seems to be affecting the historically wet areas, Floods affecting the drier areas. Some odd weather patterns the last couple of years. I sure hope Paradise and others are safe down there.

I'm in the southeast so its not as bad. We have a lightning strike that has been smoldering for a while but I hope the recent rain put it out. The smoke drifting in from Canada makes for some pretty sunsets but nothing like what you guys are dealing with up there!

Here are some aerial views of smoke from fires in my area that my brother took from his plane just before the 4th of July.

And this is his plane where it ended up on the return flight after the 4th:

(Fortunately my sister-in-law was able to get the door open before the plane sank and water pressure would have made it impossible for them to open it and escape. All including the adults and my nephews were able to swim to shore. The plane was at least 300 pounds under its load limit so that was not a factor. Shifting winds, downdraft and/or engine performance could have been contributing causes for not being able to clear the trees on takeoff.)

It's often better to ditch than try the "impossible turn" and cartwheel in.
Not an easy decision for the pilot in many cases.
    Glad everyone is OK.

If Paradisefound is the obverse, then Paradiselost would be the reverse........

"Paradise Lost is about Adam and Eve--how they came to be created and how they came to lose their place in the Garden of Eden, also called Paradise. It's the same story you find in the first pages of Genesis, expanded by Milton into a very long, detailed, narrative poem."

Paradise seems to be sooooo temporary............but without her we have lost our sunshine. Hope we find her soon.

Hope she's okay but it is summer. Most likely busy with stuff other than coins and coin talk.

Didn't she disappear last summer to "west" destinations? YAHOO to be young again and footloose. Good thoughts to her and likely good times!
