  As to the OP, I have no idea....Nor was I around in 1906 (old, but not that old)....Since I do not follow ball sports, I will not know any collectors who were involved in such activities...Cheers, RickO

  Wow, I had no idea The Hawk was an avid coin collector... I think I have one of those 2014 HOF Gold Proofs PCGS PR70 signed by him (PCGS included real autographs)
