Would you purchase this coin bracelet for your significant other?

I try to share my passion with my significant other, but its hard to find something that she also likes that trends the gap.
This trade bracelet speaks to me, and I would hope she appreciates a bracelet plus the coin lol

Would you buy this for your significant other? Do you think they would wear it? Or is this more of a couple days on the couch sort of thing?

    No,

Offer her dinner and movie, but only both of her choice without argument of any kind and she can say any where, She deserves your utmost attention.

    Forget this imaginary coin

I made one up for my wife... Took many months to find 9 tokens with:
Her initials, my initials, daughters initials, then 4 more with our grand kids name or initials.....

Put them on a piece of Tiffany chain I got for melt......

was more than worth the effort...

If she likes large jewelry yes even thought it seems a little aggressively priced. Many ladies aren't into big & clunky any more. I haven't seen an under 60 woman wearing a $20 Saint necklace in the last 10 years

Gifts should be about the person receiving them. Would she enjoy it? If not, then no.

Something with a small gold coin might be a better option. That looks way too heavy

We were given a $5 gold piece as a wedding gift by my wife's brother. I bought a gold bezel and a gold chain for it. That she likes, even wears it to school at times.

Agree. A TD is too big and too heavy for a lady's bracelet. She might like something similar with a tenth ounce AGE.

Unless those are her initials on the back you may want to pass. She might think you got it for a girlfriend and she didn't like it so now you are giving it to her. :D

I bought a pair of $1 gold coins, hold, for less than melt, when gold was $500 +/- do not remember, and just added some hoops on them, and SWMBO wears them once in a while.

Also, she saw and wanted a Roosevelt dime that had been made into a ring, with her birth year. It was her DIME OND RING

As an Exonumia collector I love it. I can tell you that my wife would absolutey hate it and never wear it. A scabby, bit splotchy, worn old coin with someone else's initials...what woman wouldn't be proud to show that off to her friends? :D;)

I usually bring home Taco Bell for my wife. Three tacos, hold the lettuce, and a Large Moutain Dew. It's something she can use, and enjoy.

    So.

Im originally from Indiana and my dad loves the NFL. He thought buying my mom a blue diamond indianapolis colts bracelet was a good idea.

It has gone down in history as the WORST PRESENT he's ever bought.

    Just don't do it.

A gold coin from a wife's mother's birth year, made into a necklace, works really, really well.

Wow, not one yes. Well I won't be the contraire, many others have made the points and I agree, I would not buy it as a present.

If I may offer another idea...

The bracelets trade dollar is carved in love token style. Why not take the time to find an actual love token with her initials and couple that with some history behind the premise.

A hand written cursive letter coupled with the token might feel more heartfelt and certainly more personalized.

Then as stated above dinner dancing and a movie, may make for a night to remember.

You still run the risk that she may not like the love token, but the effort you went though and the meaning within, well that may be the bigger gift she is sure to love.

It's all about what the people want...

Bought my wife a $5 Indian several years back, Anacs45 and put it into a bezel necklace. 14k necklace that encircles the coin. She loves it..

    I wouldn't even consider it.
Not much style and the clunky round hanging from it isn't comfortable to wear.

That dollar amount will buy Gold.
