My Wife and I went “jewelry shopping.”

Very sweet @stman. Dazzling luster...nice surfaces. Hard not to love.
I've had this '17 for a long time. I don't collect these but I love the design and had to have one.
Lance.
Very Nice...Congrats
36-D does come well struck. Yours is very nice.

The 1917 from lkeigwin is very well struck.
That's gorgeous, too, Lance!
It appears that in my initial excitement over stman's coin that I forgot to comply with his offer to post one of mine. Here goes, I hope you all like-

That is a very nice 36-D, even when considering the 36-D often comes nice. That looks to me like a strong 66 if not a 67.

@TomB I LOVE that 16!
Beautiful Walker! Did you get your wife a bowling ball with your name on it too?

Thanks for pointing that out. It’s at the safe box. Looks like it from the image. Makes it interesting if anything.
Or machine doubling? Thanks for posting the walkers, folks.
Congrats... Funny that I have experienced this with the same date. My experience happened earlier in time but it is a worthy experience that should be shared

Ain't nothing like a good Walker thread on a Friday night.
Nice coins everyone.

lol, my wife would shoot me if I took her jewelry shopping and then bought that.....oh my God!

There are double dies from all the mints in 1936, which is most visible in the date. Not seeing it on this 36-d.
Nice pickup!
I was pleasantly surprised to see my most recent (proof) Walker purchase featured in the latest Rare Coin Market Report in an article about eye appeal

The OP's coin is too cool to allow this thread to simply disappear due to an overflow of civility and lack of confrontation or controversy. So, let's enjoy these coins, shall we!

Tom, thanks. I didn’t include grade or cac hence no controversy.
Other coins posted are very nice
Hadn't posted these in awhile. Always nice to see a Walker thread...
Beautiful coin. You’re lucky, when I go jewelry shopping with my wife she likes diamonds, platinum, and gold in that descending order.
Some really nice silver in this thread!
