And we picked this out a while back. Been wanting something like this for a long time.

    36-D does come well struck. Yours is very nice.
    The 1917 from lkeigwin is very well struck.

    That is a very nice 36-D, even when considering the 36-D often comes nice. That looks to me like a strong 66 if not a 67.
    @TomB I LOVE that 16!

    MS66 taste on an MS63 budget.

    Beautiful Walker! Did you get your wife a bowling ball with your name on it too?

    Thanks for pointing that out. It’s at the safe box. Looks like it from the image. Makes it interesting if anything.

    Congrats... Funny that I have experienced this with the same date. My experience happened earlier in time but it is a worthy experience that should be shared

    There are double dies from all the mints in 1936, which is most visible in the date. Not seeing it on this 36-d.

    Nice pickup!

    I was pleasantly surprised to see my most recent (proof) Walker purchase featured in the latest Rare Coin Market Report in an article about eye appeal

    The OP's coin is too cool to allow this thread to simply disappear due to an overflow of civility and lack of confrontation or controversy. So, let's enjoy these coins, shall we!

    Beautiful coin. You’re lucky, when I go jewelry shopping with my wife she likes diamonds, platinum, and gold in that descending order.
