A new variety reported and listed and credited to you is a feather in your cap, no matter how minor the variety may be. The doubling looks legit to me.
I would love to send these in to be reported. But I don’t have the funds at the moment to send them. Plus I got several other new varieties I need to report but my cash is low right now. I would love to have my name beside the discover. Hopes and dreams at the moment. But these coins will sit. Not if someone wants to buy it for the right price. Money talks bullhockie walks.
I did not see one of these. Good find after all. As for value or interest? I find that most folks looking for these "micro" varieties like to find them for themselves rather than buy one. Send it into CONECA. After all, how many folks can claim to have discovered something?
Interesting. While were talking about 2019 Nickels, I've received quite a few in change and noticed that the strike seems much more crisp when compared with the previous years. They also seem brighter. Enough that both stand out next to an example from 2018-2017 I pulled from a bank roll. A slight die modification, pressure difference, planchet perhaps?

It's useful to have these recorded as doubled dies. But as far as having any kind of premium? Too minor IMHO.
Not worried about a premium. It’s cool just to find these. These are keepers for my reference. I believe I have 6 unknown 2019 Jefferson DDR. Keep hunting you all. I will!! Everything is minor until the big one.

And if I had the money to send these in to be recorded. I would definitely do. But at the moment I do not. Bummer on my behalf. I’m waiting to see others pop up around the nation. 👍😎🤙
when your searching for doubles or doubling, how do you eliminate PMD first? Another words, how do you decide which coins you will look under scope and which ones you will not? For myself, anything with circulation markings & strikes requires a deep dive. This takes time. BTW nice pictures.

I look for known Doubled dies. Alittle bit of researching. PMD coins are not worth the time. I catch myself looking at a lot of coins through a microscope. Never know what might pop up. Yes this takes time and patience. And Thanks.
First, after looking at the pictures I can see what may be refered to as doubling is in fact a worn die, so warn that it may be a small cud, the next series shown could very well be from a die clash, that would be the one you saw with the crease down the middle. In any case I really doubt either are something that would be classified as a Double Die, just worn dies.
Either way, if you collect minor errors such as this then have fun, that's what this hobby is about, having fun. If your looking to get rich then these are not the ones to get you there.
Keep looking, and try to get several of the same exact errors, then when you do hit the jackpot you will know it without a doubt.
JMHO
As for not having funds to send them in, try sending them to Coin World, I did this back in the early 70's and they were able to tell me how and why this happened, plus they published a picture of my find, it was only a Barr Nickel, not a doubled die as I had hoped. (No internet forums back then)

I would need some help to see it
Hope these pictures help alittle better.

The two pictures are two different 2019 nickels. With two different varieties.
I see something there. You could report it to CONECA. Here's their website-http://varietyvista.com. Click the attribution services bar on the right.
Not sure I see it but in any case have you ruled out machine doubling?
The faint trace I see indicates machine doubling. Cheers, RickO
I’m not seeing the Doubling but will leave it to the experts. My glasses need adjusted. Good luck
Best place to buy !

The modern nickels show doubling in the doorway most frequently, particularly in the upper opening (top area of doorway.)

Also came across this other 2019 P nickel. Looking like a small gouge coming down the center door way.

Great pictures... what are you using? Cheers, RickO
A microscope that clips on my IPhone. Zooms in 90x. Bought it at the craft store called Micheals.
That microscope is just temporary until I get an better and more proper one. But works ok. Not bad for $15.00

Here’s another one. Minor but different than the other three. In pocket change. There out their. Hunt continues. Neat.

Came across a few more 2019 DDR Jefferson’s. Has anyone here come across any different ones than the ones I have come across??
And a different one. So many different ones. So cool.
Cool !

I would not sell these for $50 bucks. These are my discovery and I love to keep them.
