I have 4...which makes me SEEM like a real Achiever!

But in reality, most of them were coincidental with my REAL goals.

    • "Nickel Type Set, Circulation Strikes": Not really a goal, but I found I had completed it as part of my full type set..so registered it.
    • "Two and Three Cent Type Set": 5 coins required....not exactly tough to complete!
    • "Walking Liberty Date Set": Coincidentally achieved while working the full set.
    • "Morgan Dollar Mint Mark Type Set": Actually did set out to do this one..before knowing an official registry set existed. Again, 5 coins...Whoopee!! ;)
    Easily distracted Type Collector

Zero here too. I figure there's already enough competition in life. I don't need to add to it...

None here. I just like to buy what interests me in general, I guess the 12 piece set is an exception, but not anything to really register...

33 completed sets, but don’t be impressed. The vast majority of those 33 sets are small sets that are mostly sub-sets of my main three sets, or slight extensions of my three main sets. My main three sets are Basic U.S Coin Design Set No Gold, Gold Type Set 12 Piece Circulation, and 1936-1942 Proof Set.

Yep need the zero option I was very active on the NGC registry until it changed. I have a set or two registered on the PCGS registry but I doubt I will ever complete any, the one brand of plastic only always kept me out of it.

I have completed one and am close to being done with several others but likely never will, because I collect NGC coins, too!!!! :o

I have no desire to cross them just for the registry.

Some sets are easy to complete, while are sooo hard to complete!
As an example proof set easy, seated coinage not so easy!

Where is the "I don't know" option? I buy coins and build sets that I like without regards to registry set considerations. I don't really use the registry software (other than to upload coins into the inventory now so they will show up in Coin Facts under the new policy).

Looks like 3, but two are proof sets (1941, 1942). The other is the early commem type set.

I can barely complete a custom set ATS when I set the content myself.

I do believe my first 'complete' limited set would be the Saint Pierre and Miquelon coins of the French Union/Fourth Republic/French Overseas Territory. There are six coins in total. But that is a custom set ATS too. PCGS didn't have the when I was collecting these and NGC has declined to make a set (the coins are a mix of the two companies).

Besides, once it's complete, then don't you have to keep fiddling with it/upgrading etc? Seriously though, complete is just a state of mind, and IMO coin collection is never complete. There's always more. Well, unless you have something very specific in mind and lots and lots of money. Then what? Sell it and try something new I suppose.

3 but I don't play that game anymore. I thought I had removed all the sets but I just noticed one is still listed, which I'll remove today.

I also have type sets of cents, nickels, dimes, halves, and dollars (all incomplete)
Also a Franklin variety set. But, yes, somewhere around 420 PCGS graded nickels. :)
