The deal probably will be short lived as it's not shown as $ over. it's the best I've seen in weeks. Only issue I have with BPM is they use UPS. Just MO. With bucks I'd reconsider but I picked up a Maple last week.

I bought some e bay 10 ounce silver bars from them a long time ago with real low serial numbers a long time ago for 150 each. very nice bars, but took 10 days to get them, like this one

Plus their packaging is overkill, but unfortunately somewhat necessary.

It may be a seller's market and they probably bought up a bunch a few percent below spot. What is their non-eBay price? I bet it's $90 or more over.

A couple months ago I sold a leaf and a AGE when spot was around $1280 and was lucky to get spot at one place that usually pays around $15 over. Other places were paying back of spot if they'd even take them.

I wonder if inet taxation could drive down premiums for coins and bullion going forward. It's difficult to see why it shouldn't to some extent.

1400@ 6% tax is 1484 or there abouts. I don't pay tax on coins or bullion and my local bullion dealer gets 50+ over. So I use the net for most purchases. I think N.Y. is 8% tax plus dependent on locality. With sales of 1k or 1.5k minimum exempt. As I recall you are in ct.
I don't think apmex will try to use target pricing for a national sales effort so lost sales could lead to lower premiums as they were a couple or so months back.

APMEX And others could reduce their premium on an ounce of gold but that would not make up the difference for me considering that the tax would add an additional $80 to $90.
Taxation on bullion will stop me dead in my tracks.
Fortunately, the bullion train has already left the station.

Can't argue with that but if the premium were reduced to under $20 or 25 fro current 60 or so on an 1oz coin or bar it could be doable for some. In fact 6 or more months or so ago I bought bars for 6.99 or less over.

And the eagle is now 1470, so much for that one. To my point , in this market lower premiums generate increased sales. I hope this trend continues.

Not a big fan of proof Eagles (can’t handle them), but why not have one...especially for less than .25% over spot after 1.5% CC cash back.
