nice looking half!
Congrats. Nice looking coin!
These are one of my favorite coin types and I was just looking at picking up another one.
One thing I was always curious about is the star rays that extend out to the edge of the coin. Anyone know why this happened? Is this some kind of die erosion?
@messydesk....Very nice coin, great detail.... Cheers, RickO
Amazing coin. Love the look, toning, detail, everything.
Pretty coin. Love that kind of toning.
Nice coin. What grade?
Very nice!

The stars got drawn to the edge as the die aged. The longer it was in use the more the edge milling began to erode, stars pulled to the edges & details in the devices became less sharp.....
Very pretty!
I see why you wanted it.
Nice ....... As a toned coin collector I find this one very attractive! I just love all original toned patinas with color!

Great CBH, congrats!
I don't recall seeing a 45 any nicer than that.
Great pic too.

Nice album toning.
Very sweet, John.
That's easily AU50. The obverse of that die marriage/state is always blunt. Look at the reverse feather and talon detail.
I wonder if you had it regraded and attributed whether you might get a nice bump. Eye appeal doesn't hurt either.

edited to add, my AU55, as incentive:
Listen to Lance.
John that’s a beauty. Love the look

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
I like the looks of that messy desk, congrats on the pick up
