NewP - No love for one-sided DMPLs?

I don’t see many posts of this type of coin around here. I paid 65PL money for this, but I like the eye appeal so I’d say it was worth it. Let me know your thoughts about this one and post your one-sided DMPLs below.
Always buying nice toned coins! Searching for a low grade 1873 Arrows DDO Dime and 1842-O Small Date Quarter.

Some grading services will note DMPL obv because they are worth more in theory. The same services will not DMPL rev a deserving coin because apparently they are not worth any more. Seems STUPID to me! If one side is DMPL or PL, put it on the label.
@JasonGaming I like your one sided DMPL morgan! The reverse is close to a 66.
Nice one!..I like these also...I have one and I will go and grab it and post it...why the hell not right
Great looking coin. One side is a MS65DMPL and the other is a MS66.
That's not to bad
DMPL or not, I like it a lot. Very nice looking Morgan.

One sided DMPL's are great values. BUT you need to know the difference between PL and DMPL-full 8" mirrors.
Jason, you have yourself a very nice cameo one-sided DMPL. It has me wondering if maybe both of these 1880-S Morgan's came from the same die and were struck within minutes of each other.
This double eagle is from the Saddle Ridge Hoard and graded by PCGS as MS63 and CAC approved.
I have seen a lot of prooflike double eagles, and this coin shows the most dramatic difference between obverse and reverse surfaces that I have seen in this series.
What is the cause from the reverse not having the same effect as the obverse? I assume they are very early strikes
^^^ This pretty much sums it up
A fresh die or freshly polished obverse die was paired with an existing working reverse die.
@cameonut2011 That makes sense now. Thank you
Nice coins... and the obverse, being the 'money side', will always catch the attention of buyers...It would be good if one siders were so labeled though....Cheers, RickO
Very cool examples posted. I too like these, very cool to see...

You’re speaking my language now buddy! I dig your coin a lot.
After a couple decades now of searching these are a few of the most intense DMPL one-siders I’ve come across:

I have a couple of these:

1878 7/8TF MS64* CAC
1887-S DMPL reverse:

I sold this one a couple of years ago:

PCGS MS65
I got an 1878 8TF today that is a DMPL obverse and nothing on the reverse. NGC 63*. I will image it soon.
I used to have an 78-CC with DMPL obv. and satiny rev.
It was in a really old ANACS alpha numeric holder.
