Library of Coins Albums or I enjoy collecting albums as much as the coins in them!

I've been pretty quiet here in the past 6 months for financial reasons but I was thinking lately that I would like to fill an album of something more inexpensive like Roosies (yes I know with in reason!) As I was looking at my local coin shop this week for an album he mentioned he had an old Library of Coin's album behind the counter. I'd never seen one before but have heard of them from people on here. I decided to grab it since it was $5!

The next day I went back and this happened......

Collector of randomness. Photographer at PCGS. Lover of Harry Potter.

Pick up copies of David W. Lange's books on coin folders and albums -- fascinating reading.

Now that you have all those albums, you can start filling them... and since there are so many different ones, you will always be able to find something to add to your collection. Good luck...Cheers, RickO

Hey, I have the FE / IHC album and am in the slow process of working on it.
    Nice pick ups.

That's a good point! I used to want to be a completist and I guess a part of me says there's nothing wrong with that, but I'm beginning to realize that the hunt is the most fun for me. If I don't complete one, that's ok. It's nice to be able to say "hey that's a nice coin in my budget. I think I've got an album at home it can fit in, I'm going to get it and enjoy it" as opposed to "That's a great coin but I only have X and Y albums and I have to concentrate on those."

Making a well-matched set , where pieces flow and compliment one another, is awesome

I always loved those albums. These really look like they are in nice shape too. Nice work.
