What type of 1913 nickel? A 1913 Liberty V nickel will cost about 5 million. A 1913 buffalo nickel is far less expensive.

How about a brick....
A brick of 100- retired $10,000 US bills.
100 of 366 known to exist....
They should fetch $15,000 a bill these days.
It is sort of bugging me that I do not have a good answer to the question posed in the OP.
I have to be prepared if this were to happen to me.
I wouldn't want to panic and choose something awful.
This would be my choice also.

I googled to see if I could buy a Calder stabile for a million. Not sure if it’s possible.
