Walker Proof Digital Album Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
From what I have read, Ricko and I have some similar preferences about coin appearance but here I will have to leave him behind and say that this is a very nice coin. Congrats!
Surprisingly, Newman was never that excited about his federal coins. He enjoyed them a few years and then got deeply involved in colonial numismatics. Hard to believe, with coins like this.
That is an amazing piece of history! And I'm not referring to its last 220 years but rather its first year of existence and those stories, can you imagine.
@tradedollarnut ....Well, not exactly hate it does, after all, look like a target... While I am not a fan of tarnish, I certainly respect old coins and realize that it is almost unavoidable....The preservation is remarkable for such an old coin... Cheers, RickO
Bruce....one of my favorite coins. I actually bought this as a "put away coin" from Carter Numismatics when I was at Stacks Bowers and Laura called me up a few months later and wrestled it away for a customer. Congrats!

More TDN eye candy.
Thanks for sharing.
That's a Beaut!
U.S. Type Set
VERY nice!
I...I...I'll take it if Ricko doesn't want it.
Very nice.
I LOVE this coin. Congratulations Bruce!
Not that much color for a coin that old. Beautiful old coin.
Cool pedigree
One great collector to another
and another
Have you thought of a 2020 calendar? The header could read, Strictly TDN or...Bruce Almighty.
Oops,
now I've gone and done it...
Damn that's nice.
I am soo glad that I do not have to collect that stuff
Bullseye.
Congrats! love

A LOT of great coins came out of that Newman/Green sale.

Well it is clipped
That's one beautiful coin and is what a coin from that time period should look like.

Love the coin and agree it’s a clipped planchet error. Good eye!
Nice example but not worthy of a "you suck" award like this $1 junk box find...
That isn't a coin you find on Ebay. Fantastic eye appeal. What that coin needs along with the green bean is the gold bean tacked on also.
Holy sh!t that's beautiful!
Fantastic!
Dayum, that's nice!

Wow coin.

When you get old like me, you forget where you got things. CNN, I have no memory-but it sounds right.
I did not even realize I had owned this coin until I had it in hand last week.
How can you beat a GEM 220 year old coin? Too bad most millenials are focusing on Jeffs, Mecs, and Frankies....
Seriously now TDN rocks the house again - this is beyond cool, wow!
Wow that is just amazing!
