1990 proof penny without "S"

was going through my proof sets i have stored away and was reading on about 1990 proof penny without and S. Any help would be appreciated, I've only heard about this penny so, no hopes it is that rare one. haha and yes it is still in the set sealed plastic,.

Sorry to inform you that is not a proof. What you have in a flat pack is a mint set.

That's not a proof coin, imo
Philadelphia mint set is blue, Denver is red. Yours is in a blue holder and that tells me it's a mint set not a proof set.

Yeah, The proof sets are in hard plastic cases.
I'm guessing the other coins in the pack are missing the "S" as well...

Uh, No. Proof is a way the coin is manufactured. Completely different from a coin minted for circulation.
