Thanks - that's a very good quote I had never heard before. It touched me so much I had to share it with my kids in memory of my dad- the worlds greatest- in my opinion of course.

Found out from my son and his wife this morning that we are going to be Grandparents for the second time. (Their first child) I could not have asked for a better Father's day.

My Dad died in 1998 from mesolithioma and despite hospice care, died painfully. He would often tell me he wished he would have spent more time with me and my brothers when we were younger. I knew he loved us but was emotionally stunted due to living with my paranoid schitzophrenic mother. I cant imagine how he kept it together. Anyway, he provided for us and lived his life with honor.

I celebrate him and I have 3 fantastic adult children including a son with 2 little boys. His legacy lives onward!

Thanks! It's been a privilege watching the kids grow up. The youngest just graduated from college in May and is off to grad school in Pasadena this fall. Here's a coin with my father's birth year.

I have this coin that my Dad had... he was not a coin collector as we know collectors.. but had some coins in his 'sock drawer', and this silver German coin always intrigued me... I still have it...of course... Cheers, RickO
