Dansco albums from my grandpa.

bigtime36bigtime36 Posts: 966 ✭✭✭✭

My grandpa passed away after a short battle with cancer in 2014. My grandma has the bulk of the collection locked up, but she has sent me a few of the albums he had lying around. Sorry for the bad pics right now. I do better with single coins than whole album pages. Jim

Looks like grandpa was having fun collecting those.
How nice you have his album(s).
    Will you continue with them?

@thisistheshow I plan on doing that, I'll have to see what I can come up with.

Does anybody take good pictures of albums? The lighting and focus is different on every coin.
    Looks like nice stuff!

Nice collection you got there. I think Dansco has a nice presentation appearance.

That's quite a nice collection that you have inherited.

You're doing right by your grandpa in keeping it going and you'll likely have fun along the way, as well.

This is another way of keeping one of your wonderful memories of your grandpa with you for as long as you live. I’m sure he was (and is) so very proud of you. Happy Hunting!

Very nice collection! It’s a nice tribute to your Grandfather that you’re continuing to add to the album.

@ricko My grandpa collected dimes, and had lots of pennies. His last official purchase he made a few months before he passed was a 1909 S VDB, he was pleased to show me and brought joy to him to have finally got it. Along the way years back he came across 2 1922 no D Lincoln's to which my grandma has them as well. Plus he has some coins that his father had as well. Wish I knew everything he had but I'm sure I'll know more someday.
