Just some friendly advice---more people might open your thread if your thread title were a little more descriptive.

Yes indeed.... It is a coin... did you find that one in change? Or was it a slabbed purchase? Cheers, RickO

Nice Lincoln. If the day ever comes that I collect slabbed Lincoln's, high grade browns will be my choice.

I agree but this coin just missed the red/brown designation. I like the chocolate browns.

After I typed that, I took another look at and realized it wasn't quite the kind of brown I was talking about but I still left it. I find the high grade chocolate browns to be amazing. And I think an investment in them is a bit safer as you don't have to worry about them turning in the slab.

I don't see why. I clicked on it because it was so unusual to see a coin thread

Was it already in the slab when found in pocket change?

Old copper is suppose to be a nice chocolate brown.

I am not very knowledgable on old copper- but let me make an observation.

Old cents that are high grade and red seem like they were cared for maybe but perhaps just hidden away, accidentally or on purpose. But either way a nice chcolate brown Lincoln in Ms seems natural and cared for. That might not make sense. :)
